Humber Secure
Humber Secure is a very popular window solution that is suitable for security and normalization environments. The solution has been developed in collaboration with Humber NHS Foundation Trust, and the finished result is a unique product that offers the safest and most secure solution for mental health environments.
Humber Secure consists of an external sliding slash operated by a reduced ligature knob, where access to the external sliding slash is restricted by an internal removable PolarMesh. The PolarMesh can only be removed by the maintenance department to allow cleaning of the inner side of the sliding band, deep cleaning of the PolarMesh or to replace the PolarMesh.
The exterior slide has the ability to be locked in 3 positions (fully open, middle or completely closed) to give staff control over the levels of natural airflow and the temperature in the room.
