Nærumgård decorates living rooms with Flex furniture to create safe spaces that invite to coziness, relaxation, reading time and tranquility.
It has been a pleasure to be part of this project, where we have been given the opportunity to share knowledge about how we can in the best possible way decorate as homely and cozy as possible in a challenged environment.
In connection with the renovation of Nærumgård, we have in cooperation with the staff found to decorate living rooms and living rooms with our Flex Bean Bag furniture.
Nærumgård is a residential institution for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years with developmental inhibition and autism spectrum disorders as well as other consequential diagnoses.
At Nærumgård, the need was to find furniture that can withstand various challenges. Common to the furniture was that they should invite for cosiness, homeliness, and relaxation.
In short, we should help create spaces where it is possible to lie and relax – for example, on a large pillow with an adult reading aloud or just tucking along.
The choice fell on our Flex Bean Bag furniture, all of which are adapted in shapes that make it easy to sit well soft and find peace.
The colors of the selected units are aligned with the colors in the different rooms, and all are selected in our vinyl textile which is:
- Flame retardant in Crib 5
- Waterproof
- Anti-bacterial surface treated
- Cleaning friendly
