In Psychiatry Vordingborg, in cooperation with the staff, we have arranged several living rooms with furniture, all specially designed for challenged environments.
The furniture for the different areas has chosen the department itself, including how the colour scheme and the textile selection should be.
All furniture is upholstered in vinyl fabrics that are flame retardant, anti-microbial, Phthalate free, stain and water repellent. The colour scheme has the staff themselves composed.
Three different shades have been chosen, which are aligned so that they can be best combined in the different areas of the department.
For the upholstered furniture, they have a fully sealed seat to eliminate the possibility of hiding objects and facilitating cleaning.
In the top pictures is shown Jem sofa, which is placed in a conversation room. Jem Sofas and armchairs have also been given their place in the living/TV rooms, where patients and staff are happy to sit in them. Read more about the furniture in our product section.
Sky armchairs, Vee chairsand Flex cylinder are located around the hallways so patients and staff have the opportunity to stay and sit and talk together. The Flex Cylinder, which is located under the table, is a foam nudge, which can be used as a stool, nudge or relief table for coffee cup.
In the display area we have placed Zen relax armchair. The chair is specially designed for challenged environments.
