In cooperation with Department S32 at Vordingborg Psychiatry, we have had the goal, through close dialogue with staff and patients, to make patient beds and living rooms as homely as possible. The overall goal was to give patients a better opportunity to take ownership of their own sleep rhythm. The solution was our self-desolive curtain solution, where patients now have the opportunity to take ownership of their sleep rhythm without compromising the safety of the living rooms. The curtains are blackout curtains, which give patients increased sleep quality and the possibility that they can shield themselves and have the best possible peace. The curtain solution is designed to prevent suicide, self-harm and violence, and creates a safer environment for both patients and employees. The curtain solution consists of a specially designed ligature-proof curtain rail and some unique hooks that detach from the curtain rail in drag. There are no parts that can be used for violence or self-harm, and in the event that the curtain has fallen, it can easily be re-set up by the patient or staff. ” Read more about the curtain solution or contact Cornelia Løvenskjold by mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 4497 1144.
