Anti-ligature drop down armrests

For patients rooms with bariatric patients, a drop-down armrest is an optimal solution. The armrests are wall mounted, without ligature points and can be secured by the staff when not in use.

The rail has a sturdy hinged arm that can be locked in a vertical position when not in use. It is made of heavy steel for maximum strength and the surface is powder coated for extra comfort and to be able to match or provide a nice contrast to the rest of the décor.

The armrest is handled by staff, and can be locked in the upright position when not in use. After use, it is put in upright position and locked by the staff so that it cannot be used unintentionally for self-harm or as a ligature point.
